Wildlife Observation

The technology used in our thermal imaging and digital optical products have advanced massively which opens a new world of possibility’s for observing the nature around us. The sensor in a thermal imaging camera builds its image by measuring temperature differences between a living animal or bird and its colder surroundings. Traditionally this was useful mostly for detection but with recent advances, even relatively affordable thermal cameras, can produce a rich, detailed image that allows you to watch animals and experience them in a totally new way. Nothing is emitted from a thermal camera so you remain totally covert and can observe the behaviour of nocturnal animals totally undetected. This why it is now common to see thermal imaging used in major nature televisions shows, they can capture animals that would have been interrupted by the filming process.  This is opening a new chapter for professional and recreational wildlife observation. When choosing a thermal, the higher resolution and magnification of sensor you select will dictate the level of detail you can capture in animals or birds you are observing.
